RING IN SPRING 2010
Don’t miss the third Annual “Ring In Spring” family community day on Saturday, April 24 at the Ashland County Fairgrounds. Start the morning with pancakes from the Kiwanis Club and then stroll the many vendor booths, children games and activities, entertainment and two live auctions. DOORS OF HOPE
A community impact project of United Way that provides a resource guide for individuals and families in crisis and need. Over 25 social service agencies provide contact information for receiving assistance in 18 different categories such as; utilities, rent food, medical, seniors, veteran services and many more. For additional copies of this brochure, sponsored by Donley Ford contact the United Way office or any of the social service agencies listed in the brochure.

Anyone that is 55 years or older should sign up for the new RSVP (Retired and Senior Volunteer program) now available in Ashland County. This program is sponsored locally by the Ohio District 5 Area Agency on Aging. RSVP recruits and supports volunteers in public agencies, secular or faith-based private non-profit organizations and/or proprietary health care organizations. For more information contact Director Kathi Cutlip at 419-522-5612 or stop by the United Way office for packet information. By signing up to volunteer RSVP can provide supplemental insurance (life, liability and auto) at no cost to the volunteers.
